The resort of Pénestin is a county in Morbihan part of the Guérande peninsula near the beaches of Loire-Atlantique. It has 25 kilometres of coastline and a beautiful architectural heritage. The Saint-Gildas church, the Tréhiguier lighthouse, the menhir called "de la Pierre Blanche" and the manor of the same name are sites not to be missed!
But what especially attracts holiday makers is the dozen beaches and coves of Pénestin allowing everyone to enjoy their holiday as they want: fishing walking, relaxing, swimming and water sports, everything is possible! Branzais Beach, while in the north, is such a great place to watch the geese, egrets and coots and other wildlife. Camaret Beach offers a beautiful view on the banks of the Vilaine. Halguen's Cove is the perfect place to pick cockles and clams and Loguy and Lomer coves seduce shellfish lovers.
The most famous is the beach of La Mine d'Or, famous for its cliffs (the site is classified) and very crowded. 2 km long, it is also a favourite spot for walkers and paragliders who always find favourable winds.
