Our opinion on the Orcino Beach
Orcino Beach in Calcatoggio is located along the road to the tower of Ancona near Stagone Beach. This little known small sand cove attracts quiet enthusiasts. There is shade on the left with some rocks at the end. The environment is very nice with a beautiful view of the Gulf of Liscia. It is possible to rent boats or go snorkelling.
From Calcatoggio, access is along the D81 towards Cargèse. After 4 km turn right (signs for campsites, hotels and beach activities) towards Ancona. Keep left and drive 1.5 km (one goes past the end of Stagone Beach). After a speed bump, there is a small car park on the right (a diving club is indicated). The beach is located below.
