Niel Port Beach, located south of the peninsula of Giens, is one of the most typical places in Hyères. This place, with a small port with colourful spikes and a sand and pebble beach (where it is theoretically forbidden to swim because of the port), is truly heavenly, especially out of season because it is crowded in summer!
To access it, it is advisable to come on foot even if it is possible to access it by car (but impossible to park). Respect this typical place and use instead the trails (including Douaniers from Giens – but be careful, some passages may be dangerous).
Note that there is a restaurant on this small port.
