Our opinion on the Gare des Vieux Salins Beach
Gare des Vieux Salins Beach is located at the entrance of the village of Vieux Salins from Ayguade. This small sandy beach (about 150 meters long) is bordered by a pleasant shaded lawn with picnic tables. There is a restaurant near the dike on the right. The beach stretches on the right after the blockhouse (called Berriau Beach) to the mouth of Gapeau.
To get to this beach from the port of Hyères, take the seafront road towards Vieux Salins by the D42. Go through Gapeau for 500 meters after the village of Ayguade. There is a free car park in front of the beach on the right.

This beach is located at the entrance of Vieux Salins after Gapeau. A nice lawn with shade and picnic tables borders it.
One can see the port of Pothuau (in the center of Vieux Salons) and the coast of La Londe les Maures from this beach.
The beach is narrow but the sand is fine (photo taken late February).
The car park is located opposite the beach. One has to drive through the county road.
