Our opinion on the Argent Beach
Argent Beach in Porquerolles is the most popular beach on the island and attracts many families with children (there is a first aid station and toilets). It is located 1 km west of the port and is the only monitored beach of the island. There is also a small snack (open from Easter to September). The sand is the whitest of the island (composed of white quartz). It is well sheltered, which makes swimming enjoyable. Note that this is the only beach with mattress rentals. Swimming is nice because water is shallow for 400 meters.
The port of Porquerolles provides access through Argent Beach. It takes 30 minutes through various trails and along several vineyards.
Note that since summer 2012, this beach is accessible to disabled people. This is the only equipped beach in Porquerolles.

This beach is the closest beach to the centre of Porquerolles and the only monitored beach of the island in summer.
This beach is located in Bon Renaud Cove. The left side after the rocks bears the name of Bon Renaud Beach.
This photo was taken in winter, hence the presence of algae. However, it is well sheltered, making it pleasant in summer despite the high levels of attendance.
In Bon Renaud Cove, the sea is transparent. The setting is beautiful.
