Our opinion on the Bombannes Beach - Lake
Bombannes Beach on Lake Carcans is located on the west shore between the pointe de Coben and the pointe de Bombannes (where we find the UCPA center). This large fine sand beach has a lifeguard during the summer and sidewalks for pedestrians. We find picnic tables in the shade and pine trees along with several leisure structures (bike rentals, paddle boats, sails, water skiing). Toilets are available.
From downtown Maubuisson (hamlet of Carcans) follow directions for Bombannes (or the centre UCPA). We find a parking lot just before reaching the beach.

On the west part of the lake we find this beautiful sand beach near the UCPA center.
This sand beach is bordered by several pine trees.
On the left, is the pointe de Bombannes which is occupied by the UCPA center.
On the left part of the beach we can rent paddle boats.
We can also practice several activities such as beach volleyball on the beach.
There are a few wooden huts on the beach. Idea for a nap in the shade!
