Our opinion on the Marinca Beach
In the area of Vitricella, Marinca Beach is one of the most unknown beaches of Olmeto and one of the most beautiful coves. Situated near Baracci Beach, there are alternating sandy and rocky landscapes with a view of the Gulf of Valinco and Propriano resort.
The central part of this beach is occupied by a private beach (that of the hotel). Both ends are public. Some areas have some shade.
Access is very difficult to find which makes this beach uncrowded (parking is difficult too). To get there from Propriano, take the direction for Olmeto by the N196. Just before the junction on the D157, on the left there is an access to the domain Vitricella (sign for the Marinca Hotel). Enter in this area and follow the road. After the entry to the hotel, continue for a hundred meters and after the hair pin, park on the side of the road (only a few places). The access path is on the left (wooden gate, see our photos).

Arriving on the stairs (visible in the picture), you reach the left side of this beach. Rocky area with some sandbanks. In the background, we see the great beach of Baracci.
On the right, there is a private beach (the hotel’s).
Between the two areas, a pleasant rocky beach that opens onto the bottom of the Bay of Valinco.
The right side is the widest and most enjoyable.
The cove ends with a small beach with many rocks.
To access the beach, you have to enter the domain of Vitricella from the N196.
After the entrance of the hotel, you can park along the road (only a few places).
Beside the last house, there is a door giving access to a trail overlooking the sea.
The trail between the various properties, reaches the cove in less than 5 minutes.
