Olmeto’s Capicciolo Beach (or Campitellu beach) is a large sandy beach in the nature reserve of Capicciolo (Natura 2000 since 2003). This untamed beach offers a beautiful setting with dense vegetation on the beachfront. It is not well known and not very busy even during the summer season. Rather coarse sand. On the left, a few small coves with black rocks. Note the presence of several campsites and hotels nearby. On the left, there is the Calanca Cove below the tower of the same name.
To access this beach from Propriano, take the direction of Olmeto by the N196 then the direction of Porto-Pollo. At the junction of Porto-Pollo, turn left after 400 meters towards the stadium and the Calanca tower. There is a carpark at the beach with a restaurant.
