Our opinion on the Taravo Beach
Taravo Beach of Porto-Pollo in Serra di Ferro can be found in the continuation of Tenutella beach (commune of Olmeto) and extends all the way to the mouth of the Taravu. This vast sand beach is little known and is not indicated. It is little frequented in the summer. There is plenty of space to lay out you beach towel.
To get here from downtown Porto Pollo, take highway D757. At the exit of town, after the campsite, park on the side of the road (just before the fork in the road for Serra di Ferro). On the right you will find a path that leads to the beach (see last photo).

The sand is fine but is globally hard. This beach is little visited.
On the side of the road we can find a path (not indicated) that lead to the edge of this beach.
