Located north of Bastia (15 minutes by car), Lavasina Beach in Brando is one of the most beautiful pebble beaches in Cap Corse. About 200 meters of pebbles below a small village in Cap Corse, it is very different from the really touristic beaches of the south! Attendance is local, small restaurant on the seafront, pedal boat rentals; one is on a beach frequented by locals on the weekend. Even though the D80 is near, the beach is nice only if one like pebbles.
To get to this beach from Bastia, take the D80 towards Erbalunga for about 7 km. Go past Miomo then there is a big turn 2 km later (after the intersection with the D54), the beach is on the right (nice view upon arrival). There are some parking spaces along the road on the left.
