Our opinion on the Farinole Beach
The sandy beach of Farinole is located north of St. Florent in Cap Corse. It is the only sandy beach west of Cap Corse and is easily accessible by car. The sandy beach is divided into two areas, the first one on the right is located at the restaurant of the Ambada, and the second one is on the left. Both beaches are separated by rocks, which give the impression of being on two different beaches.
Both beaches are very busy in summer. When the mistral is blowing, the beach is dangerous; one should not swim. It is also a famous surf spot.
To get to this beach from St Florent, take the D81 then the D80 towards the Marina of Farinole, and then follow the signs for the restaurant of the Ambada.

From the left side of the beach, one can see the biggest beaches of Farinole where there is a restaurant.
On this beach, there is a restaurant (the Ambada).
From the D80, the view of the two sandy beaches of Farinole is beautiful. The beach on the left (in the photo) is the largest; the one on the right is smaller but more peaceful.
