Our opinion on the Hattainville Beach

The beach of Hattainville in Moitiers d'Allonne is part of the most wild beaches of the Manche department (English Channel). In the continuity of the beach of the Vieille Eglise of Barneville, this beach stretches over several kilometres in a completely wild environment with dunes that can attain 80-metre height.

Southward, towards the Cape Carteret, a zone is found where naturism is tolerated. The beach is so big that anybody do not go out Northward the beach is infinite, impossible to go to end except for the sand yacht amateurs.

This beach is reputed for the practice of the surfing, it is possible to find very nice waves there. On the contrary, caution for bathing because it is not watched and dangerous currents are found there.

In low tide, the sea can leave very far. They come then for the peach there on foot (this site is very reputed).

To return you on this beach since Le Moitiers d' Allonne (D650) to follow indications for Hattainville (D323) then in the hamlet to follow D242 (panel pointing the sea out). Parking in 100 metres of the beach.
