Our opinion on the Grèves d'en Bas Strands
Lodged between the communes of Fréhel and Plévenon, the Grèves d’en Bas strands are a continuation of Croc beach at Pléhérel-Plage. Separated by massive rocks at high-tide, when the waters recede the beaches connect. The left part is nicer as it is further away from the nearby road. On the other side, closer to Anse du Croc, is a camp site, right on the periphery of the beach. During high season this beach is monitored.
To get there by car from Pléhérel-Plage take the D34 to Cape Fréhel. On the right hand side, after 2km (1.2 miles), you’ll find the car park. The beach is also accessible on two wheels, using the cycle path.

Greve d’en Bas’s different strands can be seen in the centre here, situated in-between the larger Croc beach and Cape Fréhel.
A large beach with easy access from the car park.
The beach is massive with amazing views to Pointe aux Chèvres (Goat Point). Beyond the point is Pléhérel’s large beach, accessible via the GR34 or by scaling over the rocks at low tide.
Charming dunes form the backdrop for this beach. However, there lies a road just over the hill which can take you to Cape Fréhel.
Closer to Cape Fréhel you can see some cliffs near the end of the beach.
