Our opinion on the Cepe Beach

At the exit of Ronce-les-Bains and taking the direction of the wild coast (to Royan), the Cèpe beach is the first interesting beach of La Tremblade. Preserved environment at the beginning of the Coubre forest with a few small dunes, while being close to the city center (walking access), the view of the island of Oléron is beautiful.We also appreciate the wider width of the beach making it accessible even at high tide. On the other hand, as on all beaches of the center of Ronce-les-Bains, bathing is impossible at low tide (the sea retreats very far).

Unlike the beaches of the west, here currents are infrequent, swimming is considered safe (the island of Oléron protects well). Very family atmosphere.In summer, several beachside restaurants.
