Vert Bois Beach in Dolus of Oléron is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Oléron. Lined. This beach, located south of Perroche and in the continuity of Grande Plage in Trojan les Bains, stretches several kilometres along a beautiful forest. The site is a famous surf, kite surf and even sand yacht spot. There are many accesses but the main one is located in the hamlet of Vert Bois. Note that there are many rocks on the beach in the north (it's not the case in the south).
A first aid station is available in summer next to the car park and the blockhouse (forbidden access). Signs indicate a monitoring area (not confirmed by the tourist office, which says that it is only a first aid station, and that swimming is not monitored).
To get to this beach from Le Grand-Village-Plage, take the D126 in the direction of the north and Vert Bois. In the hamlet of Vert Bois, turn left at the traffic lights. There is a car park at the end.
