The center beach of Ver sur Mer is part of the beaches of the Landing of the Second World War. It is located in the area of Gold Beach (sector of the British). Largely non-existent at high tide, it becomes infinite at low tide. However, in recent years, this beach is envaded by green algae (they can be toxic when they rot and they smell rotten eggs) and they are not picked up lack of means (we are in a small municipality of 1600 inhabitants with a 3.5 kms coast). Because of this, the attendance is almost zero even in summer !
To note that the beach is monitored in summer and that we find the nautical center on the left.
To get to this beach coming from the city center take the D112 in direction of the beach. Parking next to the first aid station.
