Beaches in Luc-sur-Mer (14530) France - advise, map and photos

Luc-sur-Mer is a small seaside resort located in the department of Calvados, south of the Seine Bay and in the heart of the Côte de Nacre. The city of Caen is located about fifteen kilometers from there. 

Its casino and thalassotherapy center attracts many tourisys who come to discover the region and its history, including the landing beaches. In 1820, it became one of the most popular destinations of this part of the coast.

The house of the Whale is one of the places not to be missed when visiting the city, it is home to the skeleton of cetaceans, beached in 1885 on the beach of the town, and is very impressive.

During the summer, it is the aerobatic festival that draws crowds to admire the aircraft demonstrations over the sea. There is also a menhir at the bend of a hiking trail.

On the beach of Luc-sur-Mer, the cabins of the dike are all the charm, as the cliffs where we can see many fossils. Those on the beach are allowed to pick up !
