Our opinion on the Canella Beach
Canella Beach is located in the south of Solenzara at only a few kilometers north of Favone Beach. It is the only beach in Solenzara to have fine sand (if we exclude the beach near the harbor). It is considered to be one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica.
Located in a well protected cove, this fine sand beach extends over 400 meters in a paradisiac setting. We find here two private beaches with restaurants and mattress locations. On the edge of the beach we also have a little campsite with only a few places. The public space on this beach is vast, but very busy in the height of summer.
Dogs are not allowed on this beach.
To get here, pass Favone and its beach then continue toward the north for 3.5 kilometers. On the right there is parking along the route below, near the beach. A path indicates restaurants.

This beach in a cove is the first sand beach in Corse-du-Sud coming from Haute-Corse. Exceptional environment.
Near the main entrance and parking lot we find two private beaches with restaurants. The rest of the beach is entirely public. We also find a small campsite.
The right side is more wild and less frequented.
The private beaches are well equipped and not annoying.
On the left, the beach goes all the way to the rocks (a few shady zones but the beach is quickly shaded at the end of the day).
