In the private domain Cala d'Oro we find a large stone beach that is rather shady. It is totally unknown and overall frequented by the residents. This beach is a good alternative for those looking for some calm. However, we did not find access outside of the domaine.
To get here coming from Ste Lucie de Porto-Vecchio, go north toward Favone on N198. After Favone Beach, continue three kilometers on the right. There is a private domain Cala d'Oro. A sign indicates the domain and a beach is also indicated in the opposite direction – don't pay attention to this sign. To get to the beach, enter the domain then take the first path on the right (in the middle is a sign indicating the sea). About a five minute walk.
