Located in the hamlet Fautea and the Genoese tower, this preserved sand beach is in a natural protected site. Little known. It is uniquely accessible from a well landscaped path (about a 10 minute walk). Differing from the downtown beach, this beach is very calm and extends over about 150 meters.
To get here from Sainte- Lucie de Porto-Vecchio, follow directions for Bastia on N198. Just before arriving in Fautea, we see the Genoese tower on the right. On the side of the road you can find a few places to park. The path can be found near the curve in the road, on the right. A fence prohibits vehicles. Follow the path, keeping right. The beach is located 300 meters from here. It is possible to climb up the tower where you have a great view. It is about 15 from the beach.
