Our opinion on the Cala d'Olivu Creek
The coves of Cala d'Olivu are only a few kilometres from Ile Rousse in the direction of the North. Near the Tip of Palumbare, these small coves are quite rocky but offer crystal clear water. It is ideal for those wishing to explore the seabed.
To get to these coves from the center of Ile Rousse, take the direction of Saint-Florent by the N197. 100 meters after the exit sign for Monticello, park along the road. There are some trails going down to the seafront.

At the Cala d'Olivu, there are several small coves. Because of rocks, the sea access is not easy. However, the water is unusually clear.
From these swimming areas, the view of Ile Rousse is magnificent (on the right hand side of this photo).
On the right, the coast is rugged and very rocky.
Access is via the national road through several small trails.
