Aubraie Beach in Les Sables d'Olonne is the northernmost beach of the seaside resort, wilder and less crowded. The beaches of Olonne sur Mer, including Sauveterre beach, are located further away. The environment is preserved with, at the beach limit, the dunes of Aubraie. On the other hand, this beach does not have a first aid station and swimming is at the risk of the holidaymakers. The cove of Chaillé is located nearby, in the south, with a nearby campsite. Away from the car park, the beach is completely deserted. There are some rocks at low tide and relatively coarse sand.
To go to this beach from the centre of Les Sables d'Olonne, take the D87 towards Olonne sur Mer. In La Bernardière (near Salines), turn left at the roundabout (indication for La Dune Sables and Renaie cemetery – road of the Branches). Follow the road towards the sea and then turn right. The beginning of the beach is on the right.
