Our opinion on the Noire des Mèdes Beach
Black Medes Beach (Noire des Mèdes) in Porquerolles is located northeast of the island. It is covered in black pebbles, which is very unusual. Access is very difficult and even dangerous. To get there, take the track leading to the fort of the Medes. Go past an old quarry, and take the path down to the beach. One can also reach it from Treille Beach along the seaside road on the right but access is very dangerous and very difficult. One should avoid it.
