Notre Dame Beach is large sandy beach north of the island of Porquerolles (it stretches about 800 meters). The gap with the port makes it less crowded than other beaches. The setting in the pine forest is very exotic. Swimming is pleasant and the water is shallow for about 300 meters.
To find this beach from the port of Porquerolles, go east (follow La Courtade then Notre Dame). The beach is located about 3 km away from the centre of Porquerolles; the stroll is pleasant in the middle of arbutus trees and heather. Several trails with stairs provide access to the beach.
