West Beach in Bray-Dunes extends along the dam (Digue de la Mer) and the dunes to the center of the seaside resort. Bordered by several residences and an agreeable pedestrian promenade, the edge of this beach is reserved for sports (sand yachting, windsurfing... ). Going toward downtown, we find a zone with a lifeguard and the rest of the beach does not have a lifeguard.
Note that dogs on a leash are tolerated on this beach, outside of the lifeguarded zone. We also find a ramp leading to the water for nautical activities.
Parking is rather difficult in this area. It is advised to park in the lot at the end of the road rue de Large (parking lot for the natural dunes du Marchand).
