Terminus Beach in Malo les Bains is located in the northern part of Dunkerque bordering Leffrinckoucke around the parc du Vent (park in a dune area with many trails). The central part of this beach is reserved for kitesurfing and sailing, etc. (along the park). The two extremities authorize swimming and there is a lifeguard in the summer (to the south of the park at the first-aid station called Pavois and to the north is Terminus). Note that the central part along the park is totally pedestrian with a bicycle land. We can park at the two ends (the north zone is easier to access).

We are near the first-aid station Terminus to the north of Malo les Bains. Behind this we find Leffrinckoucke Beach.

Terminus beach in Malo les Bains - Dunkerque

The beach is vast. We find two zones. From the first-aid station going toward the north is a swimming zone. To the left, the Parc du Vent, is an area for practicing kitesurfing and sand yachting (swimming is prohibited here).

Between downtown Malo les Bains and Leffrinckoucke, we find a large dune area named Parc du Vent (very agreeable for family walks in the middle of the dunes). Between this and the beach, there is a large pedestrian promenade (with a bike lane) that is ideal for family walks on the shore, or for jogging. However, this beach is reserved for water sports (kitesurfing, windsurfing, and sand yachting).
