Our opinion on the Verdon Beach - La Couronne
Verdon Beach in La Couronne is the best beach in the country of Martigues. Situated in the Verdon bay, this public sandy beach stretches for 350 meters in a very pleasant environment. Very family orientated! With a large paid car park and restaurants, there are grassy areas. On the beach, there are several beach volleyball courts. The beach is supervised during the summer season. Access is also equipped for people with reduced mobility.
To access the beach, the main entrance is via the Verdon road (from the village of La Couronne, take the direction of Carro, the entrance is on the left after the great descent - compulsory charge for parking). Another solution is to access the beach via the Semaphore road (eastern part of the beach) and then access it via the stairs.
