Martigues Laurons Beach is made up of sand and pebbles, with a lifeguard station during the summer season. Alas, Martigues’s EDF power station is very close (300 meters as the crow flies) which firstly distorts the landscape and also has an unpleasant smell (at least during our visit in December).

Note that there is another beach 400 meters on the way to the Bonnieu bay but bathing is prohibited on it (probably because of the presence of a small port).
