In the bay of Bonnieu, we find two beaches, a sandy one and a pebbly one (close to the EDF power plant). Both beaches are 250 meters apart and have free parking. Both beaches are nice but the view and the proximity of the EDF power plant (1.2 km as the crow flies) spoils the view. Note that during our visit (December), the power plant gave off an unpleasant odour. There is also a recycling centre nearby.
Access to this beach is made by taking the D49 and following the Bonnieu road.
