Our opinion on the Soleil Beach
Soleil Beach in St Trojan les Bains is located at the tip of Manson (southeast of the island of Oléron). It begins at the sailing school and goes on east of the tip along a pleasant footpath. The beach is small and highly influenced by the tides. There are, in our opinion, much better beaches in Oléron!
To reach this beach from the center of St Trojan, follow the signs to the spa centre and Petite Plage from the D126 to the end of the road (this is a dead end, there are parking spaces at the water sports center).

This is the tip of Manson. There is a sailing school on the left. Note that there is no road in this area, only a trail.
The beach continues for a hundred meters. The view of the tip of Gatseau and the Spanish tip is nice (Pertuis of Maumusson is located between them).
