Gavres Porh Guerh beach is located a hundred meters from the end of the Grande Plage beach. Totally different atmosphere! You are in a small port (or a zone of launching) surrounded by two small coves. The one on the right is made up of sand whereas the one on the left is made up of large pebbles. There is a seawall separating the two zones with a launching area. Especially frequented by the youth of Gavres. For swimming, we prefer the neighbouring beaches which are better maintained...
This cove is central. The access is via the rue de Porh Guerh (to the left of the rue de l’Eglise on the south side). Signs indicate a small free carpark. From here, you can easily reach the Grande Plage beach via a small footpath
