Plat Gousset Beach in Granville is located north of the seaside resort next to the Casino. This beach is the most central location in Granville. It is dominated by the old town and surrounded by the pleasant pedestrian promenade of Plat Gousset. This beach is not monitored. However, there are beach hut rentals in summer. A swimming pool is visible at low tide.
There are several hotels near this beach as well as bars and restaurants. However, it is very difficult to park (paid parking).
To reach the beach, follow the directions to the Casino. The beach is nearby.

This nice beach is located below the old town of Granville and overlooks the various resorts of the northern Channel. There are rocks at low tide, which is ideal for fishing from the shore.
On the left, the view of the Granville Casino overlooking the beach is lovely. Ramparts surround the old town from up high.
An ocean pool is visible at low tide on the right side of the beach.
The casino gives the beach all its appeal. It was built in 1911 and is classified Historical Monument.
The pleasant pedestrian promenade of Plat Gousset and some benches are located along the beach.
There is a small car park at the beach. However, it is very difficult to park (there are hotels and restaurants in the area).
