Our opinion on the Petit-Nice Beach
Petit-Nice Beach in Pyla sur Mer is located on the route de Biscarrosee in the forest La Teste. This large sand beach is far from the city and south of the Dunes du Pilat and Gaillouneys facing the Banc d'Arguin. The edges of the beach are landscaped. We find several restaurants and snack bars here, a picnic area, a few kids' games and a large free parking lot in the forest. This beach is accessible across the dune by duckboard paths making it handicap accessible. Note that this beach has a first-aid station open in the summer. However, due to erosion, the available space on the beach is lessening. The locals prefer the neighboring beach Lagune.
To get here, take D218 for 10 kilometers toward Biscarrosse. The beach is indicated on the right. Limited parking above.

This sand beach in Pyla sur Mer is located to the south of the Dune du Pilat (about six kilometers) on the route de Biscarrosse.
Across, we see the Banc d'Arguin.
This is the first ocean beach in Pyla sur Mer.
A landscaped path is located on the dune with great points of view and informative signs about the Banc d'Arguin.
This beach is accessible from a nice duckboard path making it handicap accessible.
At the edge of the beach, is the forest La Teste and a few restaurants, picnic areas and a parking lot. This area is well preserved.
Near the beach we find a large free parking lot.
