Our opinion on the Large Beach
South of Concarneau, Large Beach offers a very specific environment with alternating rocky areas and large sandbanks. In fact, throughout the cornice, there is a succession of small coves narrower with different atmospheres. The nearest area to the access (when the cornice joined the sea) is the largest and most comfortable. By deviating towards the point of Cabellou (north), the coves become more untamed and less crowded. Note that the area is very rocky, it is advisable to use shoes for swimming.
Access is possible for people with reduced mobility at the main entrance (ramp and parking nearby). However, no specific equipment on the sand.
