Located to the west of the port of Concarneau, Cornouaille Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of the resort. Unlike the neighbouring Sables Blancs Beach, this one is not equipped. The central part is the most interesting with a nice sandbar.
Going south (towards the marina), the coast becomes rocky with sandy coves (Mine Beach, Dames Beach or Rodel Beach). At high tide, these areas are unattractive ... we prefer the central part of Cornouialle Beach which is more suitable for swimming.
To go to this beach from the port, follow the signs for Peneroff dock then follow the road for the Bougainville Boulevard. Parking is along the roadside.
