Lanterne Beach is the closest beach to the airport of Nice along the Promenade des Anglais. It is the westernmost beach found in Nice and is the only beach in town where animals are allowed.
This little stoney beach is located just before a little harbor and Carras Beach (handicap accessible and first-aid station). It is not too far from the Promenade des Anglais and is protected by a butte, making it more agreeable even if this site is not particularly a beauty!
A little parking lot can be found just before. Take a right onto Promenade des Anglais after the crossing that allows you to join Californie road near the Police Municipale).
