Our opinion on the Bains Militaires Beach

Bains Militaires Beach in Nice is located to the east of the city, between the harbor and Cap de Nice. This little stone beach is the closest to the harbor and is found at the edge of the pier for Corsica.

You must be prudent in this area because the movement of the boats contributes to very large waves.

A sailing center is found nearby.

Note that this beach was used in the filming of a French movie “Brice de Nice”.

To get here from the harbor on the quai des Docks, take rue Lazaret to the left, then boulevard Stalingrad. The beach is located just before reaching the restaurant La Réserve on boulevard Franck Pilatte. Note that there is a bus stop available (stop is called La Réserve – lines 30 and T32).
