Our opinion on the Neptune Beach
Thanks to Negresco, Neptune Beach is visible from the entire bay of Nice and is the ideal meeting point (between the roads Rivoli and Cronstadt). A stone beach, it is partially public and has a private beach with a restaurant. In the summer, we can practice extreme sports (parachute ascension, water tubing, etc).
This beach does not have a lifeguard. The closest first-aid station is located at Forum Beach, Neptune's neighbor.

In the summer, we find private beaches on the two ends.
This beach is located in the zone of Grand Hotels of Nice, notably the Negresco.
Here is one of the private beaches in this zone. In the winter, they are taken down (see out of season photos).
Across from the Negresco and the private beach, we find a zone where we can practice parachuting and water tubing. However, the neighboring zone is not very agreeable to lay out since there are so many boats coming and going.
