The Vaugrenier Beach extends from the Siesta (nightclub and casino) in the Marina Baie des Anges, along the Vaugrenier Park (behind the road and the railway track). This long pebble beach is located along the road from the waterfront (busy) and is an extension of the beach of Antibes’ Fontonne. The part before the Siesta before or in front of the marinas is slightly away from the road. Note that the railway track passes nearby (just behind the road).
There are some restaurants on the beachfront at the marina side. The advantages of this beach are that it is not crowded and there is free parking (you have the carpark right before the marinas). Wear bathing shoes because the pebbles are very big! On the other hand, the beach shelves quickly making it dangerous for children.
Note that the nearest port area (before the marinas) is private in the summer (residence opposite the beach, not possible to hire beach equipment, a shame ...).
In the summer evenings, lots of people come here for a barbecue on the beach. It is also authorized for dogs but only if on a leash.
