The Bonaparte beach in Plouha (formerly beach of Cochal cove) was a high point of the Resistance during the Second World War (Shelburn network in Plouha). This beach is accessible by a tunnel dug into the cliff. At high tide (like on our photos), the beach is reduced to a minimum, there are only some pebbles hard to reach. On the other hand, at low tide, it is a large sandy beach which is offered to us in this place full of history.
Since Plouha tahe the D786 torwards Plouézec for about 2km then take on the right torwards Kerlévénez (panel also for Bonaparte beach). There is a parking near the beach (about 2km from the intersection).
