The main beach of Wimereux in the city center stretches along the seawall promenade. This beach is family-oriented and monitored in summer, and has a natural pool to swim in at low tide. The beach is very well equipped with many waterfront benches (in fact, they are breakwaters used in summer to get closer to the water) and several cafes and restaurants. The beach is large and has space for everyone. The different views south or north are pleasant with the appearance of some cliffs.
Note that this beach is not equipped for disabled people but there are several inclined surfaces (with the help of a able-bodied person).
Please note that dogs are not allowed on the beach and seawall promenade (also the case for bikes and rollerblades).
