Boulogne Beach in Boulogne-sur-Mer begins near the court Nausicaa (near the entrance of the harbor) and continues along the promenade San Martin (it ends near a sailing school). Very well kept in the summer, we find games for children and inflatable structures. There are also beach volleyball courts and space to set up your chaise longue that can be rented by Pole-Plage (as well as bathing huts) with a book rented from the library (annexes are set up on the beach in the summer). At low tide, we can practice sand yachting (and parakart). A nice pedestrian promenade allows us to join Wimereux in a nice landscape. Many shops are located nearby. However, the number of maritime tank stocking could be bothersome.
To get here coming from Wimereux, follow the sea by highway D940 (signs indicating center of Nausicaa). Several free parking lots are located along Boulevard Sainte-Beuve or on the dock – difficult to find a place in the summer – and a paying lot is found underground near the aquarium.
