Boulogne Beach in Boulogne-sur-Mer - France

We are near the Nausicaa aquarium. The beach is very wide when the tide is coming in and we can see the point Crèche in the background.

Extra fine sand near downtown Boulogne.

To the left, we can see the north east pier that marks the entrance to the harbor. We can see two SMCL cisterns (stocking blue gasoline – marine gasoline).

The environment is rather agreeable with a pedestrian promenade along the beach. On the left of the photo there is handicap access.

From the aquarium and the pool, we can find free games for kids directly on the sand.

To the east, we find a sailing school. At low tide, we can even join the beaches of Wimereux from the coast or the pedestrian promenade.

To the edge of the beach, on the left, we find the Nausicaa aquarium.

The beach is very well equipped in the summer (rentals of bathing huts, parasols, ...) and offers a library.

We find several nearby parking lots. Here, along Boulevard Sainte-Beuve. We also find two more along the docks (Quai des Paquebots and near Jetée Nord-Est) and an underground lot near Nausicaa.

Along the promenade, near Boulevard Sainte-Beuve, we find shops and restaurants.
