Our opinion on the East Dike Beach
The beach of the East Dike of Luc sur Mer occupies the eastern part of the seaside resort (closest to Lion sur Mer). Slightly away from the city center, this beach is bordered by a residential area and a pleasant pedestrian promenade. It is monitored in summer (only in July and August). On the right side, dogs are tolerated on the beach. For its calm and its deviation from the roads, it is our favorite beach of Luc.
There is no road along this beach (apart from perpendiculars but they are reserved for residents). It must be accessed on foot from Brèche Marais street. The car park is on the left at Général Dubail street.

Located on the edge of a residential area, this beach offers a quieter setting than the downtown beach of Luc sur Mer. It is monitored in summer and has some bath cabins.
We have on this picture a view of the dike of Luc sur Mer. Behind, we have the center of this small resort of Calvados.
Along the beach, there is a pedestrian promenade. Access by car is only possible after the dike.
The different parking is located away from this beach (side downtown, after the dike) in the street of Général Dubail (one-way street).
