Our opinion on the Dog Beach
Attention, change in 2018, the beach allowed for dogs in La Croix Valmer in 2017 is now forbidden for dogs in 2018 … The reasons: the town hall is afraid of losing its blue flag due to dog pollution (really …) and pressure from certain associations (privatization of a part of the beach for dog owners) … arguments that do not seem to hold … Really a shame for this beach which was at the end of the Débarquement beach, at the limit of Cavalaire sur Mer, this beautiful beach has fine sand with a magnificent view of Cap Cavalaire and the island of Levant. It is equipped with sanitary facilities and a shower (only in summer). Dogs were allowed to roam freely as long as they respected the area (after the nautical center and up to the small watercourse).
To find a beach allowed for dogs in the area, you have to go to the town of Ramatuelle which has been allowing dogs on all its beaches for years … and it doesn't seem to have any pollution problems …
