Aiguebonne Cove in La Croix Valmer is the closest cove to Gigaro Beach (200 meters). It owes its name to the spring that flows in the valley above this cove (meaning "good water" in Provençal). In the past, fishermen came here to stock up on fresh water (on the left, there is an old cabin, probably belonging to a fisherman). The beach is made up of gravel and rocks. Not ideal for swimming in our opinion (the coastal path passes right next to it, so there is a lot of foot traffic; the Jovat Beach, 600 meters away, is more interesting).
To get to this beach, park at Gigaro Beach and head left towards Cap Lardier. It is the first cove you will encounter (less than 10 minutes' walk).
