Vaucottes Beach is the only beach in Vattetot sur Mer. It is located in the hamlet of Vaucottes between the beautiful cliffs of the Alabaster Coast with Roche aux Anglais on the left. The environment is impressive, but the beach is prohibited for swimming (dangerous currents). Composed of pebbles (quite big in places) and some sand banks (which appear and disappear with the seasons), it is used for sunbathing. At low tide, numerous rocks are uncovered, ideal for anglers. For swimming, you have to Yport Beach which is close by (3.5 km).
To get to this beach from Vattetot sur Mer, take the D211 towards Yport. Then follow the C2 towards Vaucottes on the beach road. Some parking spaces are at the entrance of the village (hard to park). You must continue on foot for 300 meters.
Dogs on a leash are allowed.
