The beach of Cricqueboeuf is at the entrance of the estuary of the Seine facing Le Havre. This beach is less known and uncrowded even in summer. Vast and wild, there are regulars looking for peace near the known seaside resorts of Normandy. On the seaside, there are big pebble but the sand can be seen at low tide (beware the beach becomes non-existent at high tide). The dogs on a leash are allowed on the beach all year long.
To get to this beach coming from Honfleur, follow the D513 from Villerville then take right the Ruel path then on the left the Mer path. Access by foot, no parking (way of reversal).
