Cerbere’ Terrimbo beach is in a beautiful cove between Cap de Peyrefite and Cap Canadell. Invisible from the road, this beach is difficult to access (you have to go through a holiday centre). Yet it is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Pyrénées Orientales, totally unspoilt and uncrowded. Pebble beach with high cliffs, it is in our view a beautiful beach of the Côte Vermeille (but it takes a little walk to visit).
To get to this cove from Cerbere, follow D914 towards Banyuls about 2.5 km then turn right before the bend (direction village of Aloe and Hotel Les Bruyeres). After the bridge, take a left then right to get into the holiday home. There is a carpark near the tennis courts. Access path to the cove (on the right of the car park), cross the holiday centre and take the coastal path.
