Sainte-Catherine coves (or Santa Caterina coves) is situated near the Cap Béar below the lighthouse and the semaphore. This small shingle cove (only a few meters long) is little-known and mostly frequented by locals (only a few houses). The setting is heavenly with a panoramic view of the south of the Côte Vermeille.
To access the cove, you can park near Bernardi Beach then take the coastal path heading north (about 1 hour walk). There is a second quicker solution (5 minute walk): park at the lighthouse at Cap Béar (access to the road at the Port of Commerce in the centre of Port-Vendres - winding road - only a few parking spaces extremely difficult parking in high season) and then take the steep trail on the right.
