Our opinion on the Taillelauque Beach
Banyuls sur Mer’s Taillelauque Beach is located at the “Cap d’Abeille” in the marine reserve of Cerbère-Banyuls near the Cap de la Vella. It is the only easily accessible cove in the area (youmust take a track but accessible by car, drive slowly). It is covered in pebbles and rocks. The setting is peaceful and not crowded. It is advisable to wear shoes to swim.

Taken at Cap d’Abeille. There are several small beaches but when we visited, only this cove was available (many landslides on the others). Small but little known, not very crowded (you must know the access track).
Composed of rocks and pebbles, this cove is very quiet. Ideal for enjoying the Côte Vermeille away from the crowded beaches.
